Who operates Xunai

Information we use

We store your account email, username, password hash if you use a password, verification status and account history. Your profile includes your date of birth, gender, who you want to meet, location and any optional details, interests, introduction or photos you provide. We also store likes, contact requests, conversations, messages, blocks, reports, notification preferences and support requests.

Your gender, dating preferences and optional profile details can reveal sensitive information, including sexual orientation or beliefs. Choose carefully what you share. We use your stated preferences to filter discovery and contact eligibility; we do not infer a different preference to fill an empty results page. You can edit these choices, hide or pause your profile, or contact us to stop processing and request deletion.

Technical information includes IP addresses, browser/request information, session records, security events and limited service diagnostics. We record allowed on-site entry sources and conversion milestones to understand which guides help people register and connect.

Why we use information

We use account and profile information to provide the service you request: adult accounts, member discovery, mutual preference filtering, likes and conversations. Required registration details are needed to create a usable adult dating account. Optional profile fields and photos can be left blank.

We use security, moderation, report and diagnostic records to protect members, prevent spam and investigate problems. We use limited service statistics to improve reliability and understand use of Xunai. Account administration and delivering requested features support our service relationship with you; safety, debugging and service improvement support our legitimate interests. You can ask us about, or object to, these uses. Requests based on consent can be withdrawn by changing the relevant option or contacting support.

What other people can see

Human profile pages require a member login and are excluded from our public sitemaps. Profile visibility still depends on your settings and moderation status. Members who can view your profile may see your username, age, selected profile details and published photos. Conversation participants can see the messages you send them. Your account email and full date of birth are not displayed on your dating profile.

Published photos may be served through a public CDN URL. A login requirement on the profile page does not make an already shared photo URL private. Other members can copy material they can view. Keep contact details, exact addresses and confidential information out of your profile and photos.

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in or link Google in account settings, we obtain your Google account identifier and email, including Google's email verification result. We request identity and email access, not access to your inbox. We do not retain Google access or refresh tokens. A trusted linked Google email is preferred for account notifications and recovery. Linking requires your confirmation; matching email addresses do not silently merge accounts.

Service providers and AI

Hosting and storage providers support the database and photos; photos are stored in AWS S3 in the United States (us-west-2). Cloudflare handles delivery and security. Google provides optional sign-in. Our MailHub service and its email delivery provider send account mail; PusherHub provides live event delivery. SentryHub receives filtered error diagnostics. Operational alerts may reach authorised operators through email and Telegram.

We may send submitted introductions and photos to AI model providers through ModelHub to obtain safety review suggestions. Current AI review is advisory: publication and exceptional decisions remain with an operator. Submitted content and review records are retained for moderation. Public AI guides are labelled content authors, not dating members; they do not send simulated romantic interest. Automated filters also enforce account, visibility, blocking and contact rules. You can challenge a moderation decision through Help & Feedback or support.

Providers and infrastructure may process data outside the country where you live, including the United States. Contact us for details about the providers and arrangements relevant to your data.

Cookies and local storage

We use session and security cookies to keep you signed in and protect forms. Browser storage can remember interface preferences and support live chat state. Cloudflare may use security cookies. This version has no advertising or paid dating subscriptions. Optional candidate reminder emails are controlled in your settings; security and requested account emails are separate.

If you allow analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 on public information pages to understand visits. Google may process cookie identifiers, technical browser/device information and your IP address. Our tag sends public page addresses without query strings and referring site origins, and does not send member profile details, messages or email addresses. It is not loaded on member, signup, login or recovery pages. Analytics and advertising storage stay off unless you allow analytics; advertising features remain disabled. You can decline or withdraw through Cookie preferences on public pages. We remember that choice in browser storage.

Your controls and requests

Settings let you edit your profile, control visibility and contact preferences, manage notifications, pause your profile, download a scoped account-data export and submit a deletion-review request. The export does not include other members' message bodies or internal safety investigations. Ask support if you need additional records.

Closing or pausing an account is not immediate erasure of all records. Deletion requests require operator review and may need an identity check. We keep account and service records while they are needed to provide the service or handle a request; security, complaints and recovery records may need to be retained separately. There is currently no fixed automatic purge schedule. Previously created encrypted database recovery snapshots may contain older records.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection to processing. Send requests to [email protected]. You may also complain to your local data protection authority; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office.

Adults and changes

Xunai is for adults aged 18 and over. If you believe a child has an account, report it immediately. We will update this notice as the service changes and identify the update date here.
